Old Causeway Bakery is the home of Sandra and Simon and is a beautiful old house and bakery wing which retains loads of period and quirky features - ideal for luxury bed and breakfast.

The Old Bakery Wing is a self contained converted bakery attached to the main house.  It has a large bedroom, bathroom with Jacuzzi and a sitting/dining room and mini kitchen.  It has a private patio with glorious views over the Dorset countryside. 

In addition there are three luxury bedrooms in the main house with the use of another sitting/dining room.  Guests are very welcome to sit and relax in the garden overlooking the fields if they wish - there are a number of areas with garden furniture for guests to sit and relax.

Come and stay in our lovely cosy bedrooms in very comfy beds with soft duvets and wake up to a wonderful full English breakfast of locally sourced produce, or for a change have Smoked Salmon with local free range scrambled eggs.  Or choose whatever you would like from all the options available - all with home baked bread!

If the weather does not tempt you out into the Dorset countryide then relax in the sitting rooms, one for guests staying in the main house and one for guests staying in the Old Bakery wing.

We are set in the middle of the beautiful Dorset Blackmore Vale in Thomas Hardy country surrounded by lovely old towns and wonderful countryside - the Dorset Jurassic coast is an easy drive.  National Trust properties are near and far - we have wonderful walks (even straight out of our garden!) together with excellent bike rides all around us, as well as horse riding.

• All reasonable requests by guests will be met if at all possible!!
• We do not have rules...come and go as you please!
• The Antelope Inn across the road, (friendly local pub), serves lunch and dinner and has an ever changing selection of guest beers  - (no dinner served on a Sunday but other local pubs do).
• We are happy to recommend and book restaurants for you as well as taxis if required.
• Sitting room available for guests in the main house with TV and Freeview
  
• Sitting room available for guests in the Old Bakery Wing with TV and Freeview
  
• All bedrooms have a TV with Freeview, hairdryers and dressing gowns
  
• Tea and coffee available at all times - ask us or help yourself!
